1. Upon log-in to a PVP world you will have a short immunity period.
2. In ROM you must have 20 combat to use PVP worlds.
3. On PVP worlds Borrowed items cannot be used or lent.
4. In the game the same immunity can be received upon teleportation or travelling, but these grace periods will be reduced if used too often.
5. The "Skull" system will be used. If you are killed, you will lose all but three of your items. However, if you attacked someone recently, you may be "skulled". In this case, you will lose all your items upon death. The protect item prayer works normally.
6. Until you have reached 75,000 coins value (P2P) or 25,000 coins value (F2P) excluding your three most valuable items or the value of the items carried improve your drop chances. Since your drops will not improve over this limit, take only items you are willing to lose; don't bring your most expensive items unless they will help you! Try using the items lost on death interface to check how much you stand to lose on death to get this amount.
7. You will gain a short period of immunity where random events can't affect you after gaining a kill, allowing you to pick up your loot.
8. It is possible to attack a person engaged in combat with another in single combat areas if they have not been taking any damage for an extended amount of time.
9. In the game you can attack players who have a combat level (Runes of Magic Gold) difference of up to 10% of your combat level +5 levels. Wilderness levels are added in addition to this, making it an even deadlier place.
